"Working with A Loveable Feast has been a joy. I recently hired them for an alumni event at the school I work at, Carol made the whole process a breeze. The unexpected hiccup for our event was that the water pipes BROKE on the day of the event, so when Carol showed up, we didn't have running water anywhere. That meant no toilets, no water to make coffee, nothing! Carol and her team handled the situation with grace, and made sure my guests were drinking sparkling lemonade in no time. They adapted well to the difficult situation which I'm sure threw a wrench into their plans. They easily switched from flatware that would have to be washed with water we didn't have, to disposable plates, and didn't bat an eye. I sincerely appreciate their hard work, and would hire them again in a second."

"I just don't think five stars is enough to give Carol and her staff. We were lucky enough to meet Carol at my son Jeff's engagement party at his future mother-in-law's home in Alamo. How could you not fall in love with her! Not only was her food delicious, she just made the party so special with her personality and special attention to every detail. We loved her (and her food) so much that we were blessed to be able to, once again, have her cater my niece's wedding shower at my house in May of 2016. It was, to say the least, a spectacular presentation. The appetizers were just the beginning of a wonderful party that ended with delicious food. Needless to say, Carol is on speed dial (on my email list) when needing the best catering possible. So, fast forward to December 3, 2016, I wanted the best possible scenario for a wonderful catered dinner for the celebration of my mother-in-law's 80th birthday. Well, this Saturday, December 3, 2016, Carol catered this 22 person sit-down dinner. Once again, the quality of the food, starting from the amazing hand-passed appetizers, along with the wine pairings with the appetizers and then on to the sit-down dinner, were unsurpassed! Her staff only enhanced every aspect of this special evening. I just don't know how to express the love and appreciation I feel for Carol and a Loveable Feast. Just the best ever! OH and she donates 10% of her revenue to a worthwhile charity. Love, love, love everything about A Loveable Feast!!!."

"Working with Carol and A Loveable Feast was a wonderful and enjoyable experience! We recently hired A Loveable Feast for our company Summit Meeting. We had a lot of cliental coming in and wanted to make sure the food quality was perfect for our guests. They are flexible, easy to work with, and provide solutions when issues arise. Their food is 5 stars at an affordable price. I would definitely recommend the filet mignon focaccia sandwiches. The bread melts in your mouth, and the filet mignon was cooked perfectly, with a dollop of horseradish sauce. They bake their own bread, which is why the bread was so fresh. I would also recommend the rock shrimp, ahi tuna, and artichoke pate (vegan). They were ALL amazing! A Loveable Feast provides options for all diets (i.e. vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free, etc). They also provided a great selection of wine, beer, and non-alcohol options for the bar. Their staff was great, Melissa and Oscar. They both were friendly, always smiling, and were constantly on the go to make sure food was out and the bar was being taken of. Great service! A Loveable Feast also donates proceeds to local non-profits, which is amazing! A Loveable Feast is truly in the business not for the money, but because they love what they do, and you can tell by the quality of their food and the great service they provide. I would highly recommend A Loveable Feast!"

We are a small, boutique catering business located in the San Ramon Valley. Carol Gilliland is the executive chef; Jan Crow is the Director of Events; and Carol’s son, Max, is an aspiring chef and works as one of their lead wait staff.
As a chef, Carol takes her inspiration from local ingredients which results in unique and innovative recipes. Each menu is carefully crafted to meet the exact mood, setting and season of the event. Please take a look at the sample menus to get a sense of the whimsical approach and fresh ideas she employs.
As the Director of Events, Jan doesn’t leave any detail to chance. She works with you to thoroughly understand every part of the event – from the color of the linens to the flowers on the table, she manages every part of the event.
